The brief

Data clean rooms

The goal was to rebrand Optable and develop a new and improved website as a solid foundation on which the company could build a sophisticated marketing and communications program. These would improve lead generation and more effectively communicate Optable's USPs and overall vision. We were to create a clear website with great UX that highlighted the main information about Optable’s approach and services. This was to establish Optable as one of only a few leading companies in the emerging, hot sector that was created due to a confluence of a few major trends.  

The solution

From complex to simple: our misson was to make Optable as approachable as possible. Grounding them in their origin city of Montreal we built a strong, principled foundation based on the protected landscape of Mount Royal around which Montreal is built. We created a brand for Optable that was structured in the same way, their values of respect, trust and knowlege, among others, are the Mount Royal that their brand is built around.The brand is approachable, innovative, safe but also dynamic. They are the strategic superhero of data clean rooms, combining structure and steadiness with activity and flexibility.


The re-brand is an evolution rather than a revolution. We evolved the original logo, creating a more sophisticated version that works more harmoniously with the logotype. Type is consistent across the brand and the colour palette has been expanded to suit a variety of purposes from dark to light backgrounds, illustrations, and product diagrams. The new illustrative style brings complex technical diagrams to life, Optable’s recognisable brand language is characterized by linear isometric illustrations, paired with graphic diagrams. The goal was a clear website with great UX that highlights main information about Optable’s approach and services. Drawing from the existing content and structure but refining it to reflect Optable’s approachability and sophistication.Light and dark sections are brought to life with the illustrations and graphic assets, subtle but effective animation bring assets and diagrams to life. The site is built in webflow so it is easy for the Optable team to update content across the site.
